Annnnnyeonggggggg! Bad thing happened to my new lappy recently :( My charger is faulty and it doesn't have any power to charge my lappy and i can only leave my lappy to die hai. Brought it to the service centre to treat it's illness and yay! Recover already wahiakhiak. I just took up another job from my friend whom i bought my insurance from. They needed a telemarketer, flexible hours and a good pay. So why not! I don't have to go to the office to work but call whenever i have free time. Good isn't it! I can work after my school or something. But yeah, will still continue shu even after school starts. Had a 2 hours training for tm ytd. Get to know about how cpf works and what medisave account does for. Information overload!!!!! And i learnt something cool like the words they uses on people in order for them to accept your offer and not reject it straight away/saying the word 'btw' to float their mind off what they're thinking when they ask annoying question or qns you don't know how to answer. Some sales technique. A lil psychology in it! Gotta get familiarize with the script and i've to start calling people already. Hope that the first few calls would go smoothly. Life is hard but at least i learnt a lot of things in every aspect :) Good and exciting news for me!!! I'm gonna attend the cruise fashion show in may!! I'll be doing makeup for the chanel vip clients. Got this offer from my friend heheheheh one step closer to my freelance makeup artist mini career. Got to prepare myself a lil before the event so i'm picking up some major skills from my friend jasmine. Too happy for whatever is happening in my life now :DDDDDDD

Brainstormed really hard on what to get for your bday. I've been going to biotherm counter to try their products since it's just beside my counter and their men's skincare seems really good so heheh, i bought a set for you! And also decided to bake something new, cheescake!! Though you didn't know what cake is that even after seeing it (because it really looks like a big egg tart -.-) but i was really happy when you said it's super yummy when you tried it. Hope you've enjoyed these 3 days!!! All the best for your 3rd year in poly aye. Love you baby :) 

I kind of like biotherm's skincare products. Most of it is water base meaning it's not oily after applying. Even their moisturizer isn't oily and it smells so nice! Decided to give it a try so i ordered their purefect hydrating gel in my quarterly goods of $450. I'm entitled to this quarterly goods when i work 3 months full time in shu heheh. Goods from brands under loreal. Cannot wait for all the items to arrive! Come to me fast please!!! I saved a huge cost for my cosmetics heh.

This recipe is good as the steps and everything is stated clearly. You can actually use digestive biscuit instead of graham crackers for the crust! I spend quite a lot on the ingredients. Cheese are expensive mehhhhhh.

What you need:

  • Digestive biscuit (2 cups)
  • 2tbsp granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp/70g unsalted butter
  • 900g cream cheese
  • 270g granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs
  • 160ml sour cream
  • 160ml heavy whipped cream

Here are some info to source for the ingredients:

  • McVitie's digestive biscuit - you can get this from any supermarket i believe!
  • Unsalted butter - buy the cheapest one
  • Granulated sugar - it actually means the normal sugar you use to eat with prata and make milo
  • Philadelphia's cream cheese - can get this from ntuc, this brand seems popular!
  • Sour cream - ntuc doesn't have so i bought it from cold storage instead
  • Heavy whipping cream - can get this from ntuc in 200ml
ALL READY TO BAKE!!!!!!
Bake time: 3 hours.

First step: Crush the digestive biscuits! I put it in this plastic bag and crush it by pressing with my hands like squeezing a stress ball hahahah. *Meanwhile you can preheat your oven at 350F which is 180DC for around 20 minutes.



Second step: Add 2 tbsp sugar and a pinch of salt.


Third step: Use a spoon to scoop the biscuit crumbs onto the pan. Use the spoon and gently press down to get a even layer. I bought this normal pan 3 for $1.60 at ntuc because i don't have time to get a springform pan! This is not bad though. Bake for 10 minutes in 180DC. Leave to cool after baked.


Forth step: Place cream cheese in the big bowl. This cream cheese is around $4+ for 250g and i needed 900g. Add sugar, followed by salt and vanilla essence beating after each addition. Add 4 eggs, 1 egg at a time after beating. Add the sour cream and beat well. Add the whipped cream and beat until incorporated.


Fifth step: Pour or scoop the mixture onto the pan. Your crust should be cooled by then. Bake for 1 hour/1 hour 30 minutes in 180DC. I baked for an hour because it start to burn at the top surface and look like an egg tart.


Sixth step: Take the cake out of the oven. Let the cake cool for another hour before it goes into the fridge to prevent the surface from cracking.
FINAL PRODUCT!!!! Presenting my 'egg tart' cheesecake. Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!! It tastes equally nice as what they sell outside okay imo la hahahahah. 

My sister baked the extra mixture and it looks nicer because she put it at the lower rack to prevent burning it. Hou sai lei ah.


Feast at buffet town at raffles city! Yum yumsssss. I think kiseki is nicer and much more worth than buffet town. They both have a wide range of food but for a jap buffet, the range of food is equal to buffet town with more seafood and nicer spags. Buffet town have fewer desserts too :( Me choose kiseki!
