Here's a blogpost about my facial care WAHAHAH.

Okay basically it's very simple. The difficult part for facial care is to NOT BE LAZY. Girls are always lazy in this prospect. Once you get used to all this skincare routine, i believe your face will achieve a nice and flawless skin. Soooooooooo here are the steps !

1. Cleanse your face properly. If you have makeup on MUST clean it all off without leaving any excess. That's very important. Especially foundation. If you don't cleanse it properly, it will cloak your pores, leaving dark spots and pimples !!!
2. Toner > essence > emulsion.
3. If you're putting face mask, just put toner before you put your mask to achieve better results.
4. Apply face cream in upwards position around the cheek area to prevent your skin from sagging. Do this when you're cleansing your face too !

Simple steps right ! These are all basics :)

Cosmetics products i'm using:

Maybelline BB Mousse and Silkygirl Liquid Foundation. 

The bb mousse gives a very light texture, almost the same as Shu Uemura's ! Face won't feel heavily cake with lots of layers of foundation. Apply it best with a foundation sponge instead of spreading it with your fingers. It tends to dry up easily and using a sponge can even out better ! But all bb turns oily after half the day which i don't like. You'll have to set your makeup with powder foundation or loose powder after the bb mousse. The silkygirl liquid foundation is great too but sometimes a little dry for me. Depending on my face condition.

Za Powder Foundation. 

It's really good i think because it gives a matte finish and it doesn't cloak pores ! Face won't look cakey or have some cracks around the undereye area. Not oily too. Best out of those i've used before like silkygirl and majolica.

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner. 

I love this. If you want to look for something that can be drawn a thin line or a thick line, try this !! You can draw any line and shapes you want using this gel eyeliner with a portable brush. The brush is really soft, giving a perfect eye line. It's smudge prove and definitely waterproof. But not oil prove (if your eyelids tends to get a little oily). For my case, my eyelids tends to be a little oily after like 8 hours when i'm outside. So it smudges a little. Here's a tip to prevent it ! Apply foundation or concealer on your eyelids before drawing up your eyeliner. This helps in your eyeliner/eyeshadows to last longer and prevent it from smudging if you have oily lids.

Maybelline Magnum Volumn Express. 

Just tried this mascara. Not as good as Shu Uemura's though but it does fulfill my expectation of volumizing and lengthening the lashes without having clums. The volumizing effect is really great. Waterproof and smudge proof. 

Shu Uemura Hard Formula.

This is the eyebrow pencil, specially sharpened so that you can draw and shape your brows easily with the shape of the pencil tip.

Majolica puff de cheek blusher. 

Cute puff blusher in apricot. I personally like peach colour blusher than pink. Peach gives a more natural look but of course it depends on your skin tone whether you suits pink or peach. Fair skin don't really suit bright pink. Light pink to peach will do. Peach is suitable for tan skin.

I realised i use quite a lot of maybelline's products hahahah !! Fyi i don't use concealer. I find it very dry, whether is it liquid, gel or cream. 

So here's the skincare i'm using:

Avene Deep Pore Foaming Cleanser.

This deep pore cleanser can be used to cleanse off foundation. Some might be lazy to use a makeup remover for removing the foundation then try this ! Deep pore cleansing for oil control and face won't feel tighten.

Shu Uemura's Cleasning Oil. 

A 2-in-1 makeup remover and cleanser. Helps to remove makeup, even waterproof mascara, foundation and lipstick. Removes impurities and cleanse your face really well !! They have 6 different colours for different skin types. The whitening one in purple is the best. Treat dull skin, dark spots and remove dead skin. Face appears to be very clean and refreshing. Though it's a cleansing oil but it doesn't feel oily after wash. If you happen to be at mbs, drop by Action Hair Boutique to get samples from me to try ! Heheheh.

Depsea Hydrability. 

This is for people who have dry and dehydrated skin. Gives face a high moisture level made with minerals. My face condition improved a lot all thanks to this !! It's the cheapest range in Shu's skincare. The depsea concentrate is the best out of all ^^

PureNovate Intense Pore Perfecting Solution.

A must try if you have big visible pores or cloak pores. The one in pen shape is the best best best. It isn't oily after applying, gives a matte finish on your face and face becomes radiant. Pore is visibly treated. A perfect solution for treating your pores ! I use this too other than the depsea hydrability.
